19 charged in drug bust across Lehigh, Northampton counties (2024)

Officials announced Tuesday that more than a dozen people have been charged as a result of a drug investigation in Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

According to the Lehigh County District Attorney's office, 19 suspects have been arrested and charged. The DA's office said that methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, marijuana and four guns were recovered.

Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli said the arrests were made with the help of upgraded surveillance technology.

"We were able to identify significant information about this ring and operation going on in both counties," he said.

"We're taking down off the streets these folks that are selling poison to the folks of the Lehigh Valley."

In Lehigh County, charges have been filed against 12 of the suspects, including three of whom who are from Northampton County. They will be prosecuted in Lehigh County, according to the DA's office. They are as follows:

Ramon Reyes, 35, 1020 Wyoming St., Allentown, is charged with five counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and four counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, both felonies; nine counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor; one count of Criminal Conspiracy, a felony; eight counts of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, a felony of the third degree; one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor; and one count of Persons not to possess a Firearm, a felony of the second degree. Comarie Thomas, 27, 2230 W. Allen St., Apt. 9A, Allentown, is charged with two counts each of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, and one count each of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana. Luis Urena, 33, 135 W. Long St., Apt. 1, Allentown, is charged with one count each of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility. Luis Rosario, 28, 426 W. Green St., Apt.2, Allentown, is charged with two counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count each of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Use of a Communication Facility and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Victor Rodriguez, Jr., 51, 343 N. Sixth St., Apt. 104, Allentown, is charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and one count each of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Criminal Use of a Communication Facility and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jonathan Irizarry, 29, 1006 W. Tilghman St., Allentown, is charged with three counts each of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance; one count each of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Receiving Stolen Property, a felony of the second degree; and Persons not to possess a Firearm. David Rodriguez, 39, 17 W. Sycamore St., Allentown, is charged with two counts each of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility. Elinette Nieves, 29, 1020 Wyoming St., Allentown, is charged with one count each of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Criminal Conspiracy, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Barabara Torres, 35, 1006 Tilghman St., Allentown, is charged with one count of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana. Audra Maynard, 47, 4325 Delaware Ave., Easton, is charged with one count each of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Peter Duprey, 30, 2013 Glendale Ave., Bethlehem, is charged with three counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and four counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Eric Fisher, 46, 400 Bridle Path Road Apt. E14, Bethlehem, is charged with one count each of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Use of a Communications Facility. The DA's office says there were quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and marijuana found at various residences. In addition, there were two firearms recovered.

According to the DA's office, the investigation also led to the arrest of seven people in in Northampton County on March 9, two of whom are residents of Lehigh County. Authorities found two guns during the arrests. Those who were charged and are being prosecuted in Northampton County are as follows:

Eddie Saez, 29, 1316 C Howard St., Bethlehem, charged with nine counts of Delivery of Controlled Substance, five counts of Criminal Conspiracy, and eleven counts of Criminal Use a Communication Facility. Manuel Reyes, Jr., 34, of Nazareth, charged with one count of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Paul Allen, 33, 119 Blackstone Dr., Wind Gap, charged with one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, two counts each of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility. Kevin O'Neill, 48, 6125 Weaversville Rd., Bethlehem, charged with one count each Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Hipolito Vasquez, 32, Bethlehem, charged with one count each of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance Criminal Conspiracy and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Lorimar Negroni, 27, 613 Race St., Apt, B, Catasauqua, charged with three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Criminal Conspiracy, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and two counts of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility. James Biddle, 33, 513 16th Ave., Bethlehem, Lehigh County, charged with one count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, one count of Criminal Conspiracy, five counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and four counts of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.
